GTI Hydraulic Bonnet Lifters

   Alright People,
   
   Did some searching to see if there was a how-to guide on here for fitting them, but found nothing.
   
   Anybody fitted them personally?
   
   Was it easy?
   
   Any help appreciated with rep waiting!

   ive heard you need to get a bracket welded on
   
   get a set off a 106 in a scrap yard pretty sure nearly all have lifters my mates 1.1 does and my other mates qicky and see how they line up

   the saxos wing isnt as strong as the 106 wings as above strenthen the wing and go to a scrappy

   iirc they have a bracket witha ball on the end spot welded to the suspension tunnels on either side. then the same welded to inside of the side lip of the bonnet so you will have to strenghen the bonnet edge cause they lifters are very strong and will just twist your bonnet if you dont

   ive had some fitted and ive not had a problem with the bonnet twisting or anythink
