Hi, newbie here. I have a 2000 Saxo VTR with a blown engine, I have been going round breakers yards in Birmingham today to try and find a replacement, but I was told by a Citroen dealer you need to match the oil filter (screw in or plastic housing) the coil pack (top mounted above the fuel rail or distibutor style) and the lambda sensor (visible in top of the exhaust manifold or not). Will the Bosch MP7.2 ECU run any variation of the VTR engine and will any variation fit in my car, or was the Citroen dealer telling the truth, do I need to match these things, The engine code is definately NFZ on all the engines I have seen, but then I get put off becuase they have the wrong coil pack, or the wrong lambda.
