   Hi i was thinking of fitting a k&n air filter to my saxo 1.1 do you think its worth it?

   bmc are best inductions, but on a 1.1 i doubt theyd give much performance

   Then do something worthwhile, i.e. an air filter that will work. I use a custom-made kit by a company called GSR, and that coupled with a remap has given me 74bhp. It's all relative. Pay peanuts, get monkeys... when I had a K&N my bhp was actually down on what I had standard.

   All you need is some silicone piping that will extend down to the passenger side front wheelarch, and a big-ish cone. It's the best design for induction, and when I'm over I can sort you out with that probably...

    1.1 saxo can pull faster than a 1.2 clio anyway. change gears at the right time and youll beat him, imo clios are fat and ugly (thats the more basic models) they arent good performance

    i know a few guys that have crashed and died / come close to death on here because of a pointless street race
    
    especially at a young age with no road experience, your still immature and not a good driver (allthough eveyrone thinks theyre great) i say this because only being 18 i had moments of stupidness not so long ago, luckily i rarely act like a twat now, but did a year or so ago. strangly since ive got the more pwoerful car i dont drive like a knob anymore
    
    too much "im the best driver, nothing will happen to me" mentality with young drivers nowadays
