do i need a special gasket kit to fit supersprint mani to standard pipe?

   i have just fitted a supersprint manifold to my VTR and the bolts are too short where the manifold meets the centre pipe.
   
   Do i need a special gasket kit or something?

   the gasket is bigger on the supersprint -
   
   All i did was clamped the two together just far enough to get the bolt on.

   i have a custom gasket so that is fine. i just can't get the pipes close enough i have tried a clamp. wasted about and hour and half trying to sort it and got no where. the bolts seem too short?

   Pretty sure Kam racing sells the kit for £15 to make them fit?
