aftermarket gearknob, will it fit?

   hi, i recently bought a new gear stick handle/ knob, w/e lol... and i just wana know if it'll fit...
   
   also, how will i get the old gearstick head off to put this on?
   
   i also got some leather gearstick surround from a vtr because i have some shitty plastic stuff around it atm, how will i got about puttin this leather on aswell..

   yeah mate will fit no problem. put car in 4th gear. get in the back and tug on it hard. it will eventually just pop off. Then you'll need to put the gaitor on 1st, then fit your gear nob. they are usually universal anyway

   how will i go about fitting the vtr leather gearstick surround, as you can see from the top pik, the lower part of the gearstick looks HIDEOUS so i want a nicer leather 1 on...

   someone correct me if im wrong but i believe the gaitor is the surround (im not clued up on what everything is called so im just guessing lol)

   Mine had a Torx Screw keep the Center Console and the Gear Gaiter attached. One you take that off just pull the gear knob upwards and it will come off with the Gaiter as well. They are bonded!
   
   When fitting your new Gear Knob it will probably use small screws around the neck to fit tight with the gear stick. If not you can simply use some strong expandable glue such as Gorilla Glue. Also make sure that if you do not have a new Gear Gaiter as well cut carefully the old gear knob of with a little saw and re-install the old gaiter.

    did you get that gear nob off eBay?? did it come from germany or somewhere like that?, i ordered one from him but he never sent it, i reported to ebay about him and they gave me a full refund
