would 50mm drop be too much for the front? i mean so low i cant go over bumps with the vtr bumpers?
  2. #2
Nope, mines down 50mm and its not scraped once
  3. #3
It'll be fine 50mm tends to be the recommendation for saxo's!
  4. #4
mines 60 and fine with speed bumps

    50mm front

    45mm rear

Or if your not that assed about detail...50mm all round...if you 'cruise' alot with mates in back...although some people have said that they havent had problems, some have...you might be one of the unlucky one's and have some issues.

want to keep it the same all round for handling purposes mate as standard the rear sits slightly higher for a reason, so if lower it the same all round the rear will still sit slightly higher but you will barely be able to tell

cos rear is naturally higher as standard as you have stated

Im going 50mm all round...just wanted to be a dick and throw in a figure to confuse the poor fella

When I got mine lowered, I just said I have 50mm springs and I want the back lowered to match.

That way it seems to sit perfect or it did with mine.

yeah exactly cocky so if you only lower 45 rear 50 front its going to sit even more higher at the rear

    think about it

    You FAIL

just stick it 50mm all round you cant go wrong, tbh you wont noticed handling difference on a normal round if lowered it 45mm rear and 50mm front, but would look a bit nose heavy.

Go for 50mm all round and will have no problems.

    Lol at steve's pic.

    I agree, same with mine..

Arch gap is the same all round..Looks nice..

i personally would of said Raz was right Steve, if you lower 60 all around its going to sit the same all around and have the same clearance, when i got mine it was 60 all around and it sat perfectly the same on all arches, where as you look at it now, and its not lowered as much on the rear as it is the front, hence why rear is higher

look at dannys as well, 60 front 70 rear, for what your saying, that way it should be sat the same all around, but its not the rear is lower

60/70 that sounds too low,im going to get the springs maby next week 50mm also getting eibach shockers
  22. #22
    raz = owned imo

    steve - i agree

50mm is fine, had mine like it for a year with the back at 60mm, never scraped once, could get over everything.

only scraped on full lock with a full car.

    looks the tits too.

If using the apex sports 50mm suspension, how hard is it to make it bottom out?

    Eg, driven hard over backlanes...?
