Was it raining or was there a lot of moisture in the air?

All depends on how close and the conditions were that you sprayed it in.

If you used rattle cans then the lacquer takes a few days to properly dry and harden.

You could try and leave it a few days and giving it a real good polish and see if it brings it up.

If your confident then you could do a very light wet sand over the top of the final coat of lacquer and use some elbow grease and polish it up with some g3 rubbing compound to bring the shine out

I had exactly the same thing on a set of Morettes I sprayed for someone. They came up shit. Simply waited for them to dry, came out a little better... then sanded back the top layer with some wet 1500 paper, and sprayed over the top again when the weather was better!

If theres moisture in the air it will react with the paint giving it a dull finish, lacquer is usually shiny straight from putting it on if done in correct conditions.

Only option is like what i stated before, worth a try, can always wait a few days and see if it shines up, if not try the methods i stated, always worth a try rather than rubbing it all down and doing it again

its because you put too much one mate

dont worry it will dry clearjust takes longer to dry thats all and more chance of it dripping
