performance questions

    will rep for these. i got a vts lookin for what the best one of each is please.

    1. is the raceland the best induction kit for performance
    2. what 16v manifold is the best for performance
    3. with a decat full exhaust system, manilfold and industion kit what bhp will i expect out of it roughly. cheers

    is there any other things that can push the break up a little. is the ecotec valve any good?

    filter does the job

    manifold doesnt matter really. depends on budget. raceland again or miltek etc

    around 135 nothing more

    all add on valves are shit. all little add ons are tbh

    put money to cams

    I think 135 would be the *max* bhp off that also. We got 136 with no manifold, just a supersprint exhaust + decat and the Predator ECU and it wasn't having anymore may have got another 1-4bhp off a manifold, and maybe another 1 out of decent induction (we had stock airbox). Then with cams you jump up to the 150-160mark, and then head work will take you +5-15 on top depending on how good it is, then bodies another 5-15 again!

    I disagree, I know of 2 different VTS engines with induction (one BMC, one Raceland) both with manifolds, and 2" pugsports, and they both made over 140bhp. One was 140.3bhp, and the other was, I believe, 143.2bhp.
