bike bodies on valver

    just wonderin if any one as used bike bodies on a vts engine

    Has been done plent of times before. the design of the manifold usually limts gains as they are usually held on by silicon pipeing which disrupts the airflow.

    However take a look at the sandy brown manifolds they overcome this problem and are much much better.

    as said ^^^

    they have been used and if i were to use any id definately speak to sandy brown as their "new" design looks superb and well made.

    They are also considerably cheaper than DTH bodies, about 450 for the kit but then you must buy the bodies which must be GSXR 1000 K1/K2 bodies.

    I was going to run this setup until I ended up going down the Boost route.

    Got the majority of the parts, but not fitted any of it. Trying to decide what to do with the cams and ecu thats in it at the mo. Also need to get some more money before it can be finished and its a long way off tbh as I dont plan to fit it until next year ready for show season and the summer.

    just going to put mine on rollers next month to see wot it is pushin i no some one who as on wot is 170bhp n it keeps up with it but in two minds if to sell it

    Does not sound all that cheap. Have you worked it out £ for £ for the complete setup? I always found the most expensive part is sorting the management out. I know my throttle body setup from GMC did not end up costing that much more than what AXnutty ended up working out on his bike carbs.
