My Rear Caliper

  1. #1
    Hay Guys!

When i got my saxo the rear offside caliper was binding, so i replaced the pads on both sides and its been fine until the last couple of days and now if i put the handbrake then take it back off this caliper just stays on.

I know theres not much i can do bout this so i was wondering if you could get a servicing pack (piston, seals everythin for a refurb of the caliper) or weather i would be better off just getting a new caliper.

    any input welcome!

    cheers guys

Might be the handbrake cable... this happened to me and I needed a new cable

I took the wheel off earlierand the cable it fine.

i have to pyshically hit the pad on the inside to get the caliper to release.

try freeing it off mate, take the caliper off and get some grips to push it back once you have pumped the pedal a few times. dont pump 2 much or the piston will come out. nd repeat a few times if this doesnt solve the problem id recomend a new caliper. hope it helps

    scrapyard a new caliper.

Going to be quicker and cheaper just to swap it
