   To correctly lower the rear beam the torsion bars need to be taken out, beam raised and then torsion bars put back, the splines, notches or clicks method is probably the single worst thing you can do when lowering a car with torsion bars on it.
   
   I would rather have a Gmax spring set up with standard damping...

   im tryin to lower my vtr but every one is telling me not to mess with the torsion bar cos its to serious a job

   It could become serious if you dont really know what your doing, there is a guide on here that explains how to do it the proper way.
