Clutch probs..

   Got a few issues with the clutch whenever i start the engine until the car really warms up the clutch makes a horrid squeaking noise a bit like the fan belt when they wear out. Ive been told its a problem with the clutch release bearing...
   Anyway yesterday when i started the engine it was very juddery and was idling at 1000 and the gearknob was quite shakey.. is my clutch on its way out? If so what else would people recommend i change as well while i have that replaced?

   Doesnt sound like the clutch.
   But just buy a clutch kit.... I can get them for £70 delivered... well good to. Put one on mine a few weeks back

   That cheap?? Is it for a mk2 VTR?
   
   I know it is the clutch as when i put my foot down on it..the noise stops..

   What sort of bhp can that clutch handle? I'll have to get back to you as i can't afford it this month and im on exercise for a few weeks next month..

   I had a similar noise on mine, put clutch down it stopped.. 1 mile later, the clutch goes!!!!!!!!! new clutch required...

   That'll be the release bearing. Fit a new valeo clutch kit.
   
   Standard clutch can handle around 180BHP reliably, then the cover lets it down

   it the clutch if car judders when you pul off !!! mine did same a couple times but was on warrantee wit mr clutch so they replaced, 3 times saying faulty clutch.
