smoking side indicators..

    just wondering what you need to do to smoke the side indicators? ..do you just need to pull off the plastic bit and spray the outside of it? if so whats the best way of doing it?

    Indicator lense should just pop out mate, then release the bulb.............then just spray the lense with whatever product you buy

    ok cheers mate. why does the bulb need releasing if its only the lense thats getting sprayed? ..and what would be the best spray to use.. satin black? laquer after?

    Anyone know wether its better to use satin black and laquer or spraying tint??

    Also anyone got a link to some on the net??

    Halfords sell tint spray matey, best to probs use that like.......

    If your buying stuff like paint and laquer etc, its going to come to £10. For that you may as well just order some proper smoked ones imo.

    Halfords/ebay/motorworld/local accessory shop should all sell them

    Good point, tint spray is £10 and lacquer is £5 from motor-world which is cheaper than halfords.

    The ones off eBay look better too.

    spray tint mate. make sure it still road legal. not worth the bother from feds!!!
    the lense is like a fitting mount for the car and to hold the light all in one. so pull one end out then twist it about a bit so that you can get to the click to pul the light plug then that will need a bit of movement so you can plug it in easier.

    They dont look right.. looks like the outer lense is clear with a black backing...


    Also i have satin black and laquer so it would be free to do it that way..

    May buy the set in the ebay link near top.

    my mate used the spray from halfords on his corsa looked a treat put a thin coat on
    if u want more then add another coat just make sure it dosnt run looks poo when that happens but look around because halfords might aswell wear balaclavas with the prices they rob you at

    an example of this is £25 for caliper paint nearly pissed my pants when the woman told me how much

    i passed with mine and they have about 4 coats of tinting spray and look mint
