Just about to buy some 283m gti6 brakes just checkin they will fit my vtr ok, obvs need to get calipers etc but the discs wont be too big will they

you need calipers, carriers, disc and pads
you need to have 15" alloys or bigger to fit the 283mm setup

ive got 15s yea got to get the rest, but found some discs cheap just wanted to double check. cheers mark repped mate.

just make sure the disks are the right offset!
Also some 15's are VERY close to the carrier, my 205 speedlines were like 2mm tops away from the carrier. My speedline turini's had plenty of room

My VTS rims are fine with GTi-6 callipers underneath.

^^ scrap yard, Peugoet. iirc you can get the full carrier and caliper setup for about £120 brand new

Doubt it but would be interesting to see.
GTi-6 owners club
Tend do have sets going in region of £100, worthwhile considering a decent set of discs can cost you that for the standard caliper
