C2 VTS metal intake manifold...

   does the intake manifold on the C2 VTS have any advantages over the normal intake manifold on a saxo VTS? just iv heard about them a few times and im wondering if it would make any difference on my saxo,
   
   just to be honest i cant understand after making the engine a long time ago why they would now decide when making a new car to change the intake manifold? any help would be appreciated! thanks charles.

   Different stud pattern on the inlet manifold where it joins the head - so not a straight swap.
