i want to lower my saxo by 50mm. what parts would i need to buy in order to be able to do this??
any help wud be wikid cheers

you really need springs and shocks to go down 50mm
so springs and shocks for the front and shocks for the rear.
you will get everything you need if you get a 50mm lowering kit.

wher wud be the best place to get a lowering kit for not to much money

have a look at the apex kit on kam racing its 200 quid with sax p discount..
also spax do a kit think they will be the best budget ones

depends on budget. you can get just springs from like £40 or sumin but ur ride quality will be crap. a good kit will have dampers front and rear and springs for front! but will set u back like they said ^^ £200 or more.

what about if i wanted a 40mm drop would i need shocks??? £200 doesnt seem bad tho. also wud ther be any rubbing issuses with 15" alloys fitted??

Don't forget you'd need to get the torsion bar lowered at the rear because it doesn't have springs ££££

na 15's are fine... as far as im aware. and a drop of 40 probs wont make ride too much worse (without shocks) but i duno if without dampers it will improve handeling much either. yea i think im going for a spax kit for 200. do i right from the start my motto

is the torsion bar a major problem for garages when it comes to lowerin a saxo??? wud most garages be able to do the job?

yea most wud and i didnt thin it cost a bundel?
some are 'stuck' because they havent been adjusted since new... but yea they can be done. my big bro did his when he was 18 with nearly no knowledge of cars lol. took im a long time but ee did it.

Nah you have to whack it with somethin heavy usually. I wouldn't advise it to someone who doens't know what they are doin. It cost me 90 quid to get my torsion bar lowered. And it was really seized up! Took 3 hours to get one side out, other was fine.

ye i know a boy that works in the local garage and one of my dads mates ownes a garage so ill fone them up and see wat they say. cheers for the help guys
