gti help please

   Hey all
   
   got a gti ,few lil problems just wondering if you could helo
   
   1.when i go fast in it ,smeels like exhuast fums are comming in through the vents
   
   2.lost all power at 80mph,stopped and reved it and all was fine
   
   any help will be great

   right found out the problem with the exhuast
   
   need help with power and hesistation now
   
   the car seems like its running on 3 cyclinders and there is no power at all
   
   also EML is constantly on

   had it plugged in and its got 3 faults
   
   all sensors,one was icv,one was map sensor and one more which is by the icv
   
   guy told me it will cost alot to get done
   
   any ideas on prices

   get the faults cleared and then clean the sensors up, most of the times ive heard this happen its because the sensors have been dirty.
   
   Clean the ones all round the throttle body and the map sensor, also check the connector plugs to

   Is it the throttle position sensor thats near the ICV????
