any idea wot kind of gains i can expect from a 4-1 manifold & sports cat ?
they're quite high on the list since i've had my new exhaust system put on

no point in sports cat as its still restrictive, get manifold and decat and keep cat for mot time.

not sure i could be arsed with having to change the cat over everytime i had the MOT.
but what kinda power gains would i expect from the two options ?

not much from either to be honest, but further up the rev range it would feel more loose with the 4-1 and decat, sports cat wouldnt be much different from how it is now.

ok ive heard completely different - apparently the manifold will boost the power a bit aslong as done with full system....
....but i lost interest once shown the price of that and brand new suspension!

the cat is restrictive, by putting a manifold you will free up some power but the cat will restrict it so not much will be free, same with a sport cat, its a cat thats not as restrictive but its still restrictive, if you loose the cat, put a manifold on and an aftermarket system on you will free up ponies.

its got mesh in its always gonna be restrictive, de-CAT is a non restrictive errr cat
