106 GTI Dials

   Is there any way you can put the dials from the late mark2 gti into an early mark2 gti?
   
   As i understand some of the older mark2's had black dials with analog mile read out and the newer ones had white dials with digital mile read out.

   Wouldnt you need a different ecu or wiring due to the change from analog mile tripometer to digital mile tripometer?

   Another quick question do you know what year they went from black to white digital?

   i would guess around a v plate mate but not sure
