Paint and air brushing ideas......your thoughts

    Right heres the deal. after the new year i plan to refurb all the body work on my car. This more than likely means a full re-spray.

    it just so happens that I have a new found friend that has his own paint shop. He also happens to be an amazing air brush artist.

    he can do pretty much anything, he has just finished painting a massive polar express train up the side of a vw van!!

    He says he wants to do mine, but im stuck for ideas, have been told that black with candy blue fire looks good. He could do any picture I wanted but where do I start!?

    Now I know what your all gunna say that you have seen these go wrong and it might not come out how you want, but trust me he is very good

    I just need any ideas to help me get started, bare in mind that I will painting all the interior trim aswell.

    Well i`ve always been into heavy rock music & theres a guy on ebay who does amazing airbrush designs was thinking about having the Iron Maiden eddy head on my bonnet with an arm coming out with a piston in his hand.Just an idea.

    k thanks for that. still stuck on base colour aswell. Im startin totally from scratch on this one.

    personally (its a bit random but...) id go for white to blue fade... front to back of car, with airbrushed snowflakes. lol
    u on sss aswell?

    good thinkin on the fade idea. did it with my last sax but i faded it from top to bottom. dunno about the snowflakes tho

    just looked at airartist_123's listings. nice work. the bird on the mr2 bonnet looks a bit mannish tho imo.

    Aren`t there companies that do a camo wrap for the whole car?on yank websites ive seen car/trucks done out in Realtree camo expensive I think.

    not really into camo, as you dont really end up up with a design. just a car with lots of different colours on it.

    it looks good but its not unique.

    I dont think that airbrushing 'fucks up' your car, yes it can go wrong but with the RIGHT DESIGN it can be fuckin' awesome. Kind of a make or break jobby.

    Hi wellsy, and everyone else on here. Thanks for giving my site a mention (www.killerpaint.co.uk) hopefully we can get a nice airbrush job sorted on your car this winter. started moving the gear into my new premises today, should be up and running in about a week.
