Replace oil seals without removing head?

   I've got to replace my oil seals on my mk1 vtr.Just wondered if it's possible to take one of the manifolds off and put something in to hold the valves in place while i change the oil seals.I've heard it's possible on some engines but not sure if it's possible on the tu engine.

   I take it you mean valve stem oil seals?? If so i think its a head off and on to the bench for that one..
