rear caliper

   hey guys im in need of a bit help in the hunt for a new rear caliper!!
   
   not good i no but managed to thread the inside of the caliper wen my mate and i wear puttin new pads on the other day and now the bolt just keeps on turning, im guessin this is not as good thing and was wonderin wot can i expect to pay for a new rear caliper and also were to get it from?

   iv had a look at europarts and they have said about £48

   lol cheers is it an easy job to fit the new caliper or should i get a mechanic to do it?

   never done one myself as i havent needed to...cant see it being a massive problem

   would i be able to keep the detachable part of the caliper as it is painted?

   im pretty sure its jsut a matter of takin out the bolt at the back and takin out the hose but just not too sure

    lol no worries cheers tho, would u say it is dangerous to drive with the loose bolt? its not comin out but it still turns when you tighten it so its got me worried?

    When buying one make sure you have the correct make.... sometimes they can be ATE, Bosch etc

    I wouldnt recomend it but if you had to just take it steady, but i would only use it in an emergency or to just get it sorted.

    ok will do looks like i got to put up wiv the mrs drivin for a bit then lol,
    one thing i have noticed i had to break hard the other day and i got a judering comin through the pedal which cant be a good thing would that mean that the caliper is movin a bit or not working properly?

    right ill see which side my mate needs and if its off side you can have the near for a good price
