Interior Spraying

    looking to spray the interior around my dash, the air vents and dial surround and glove lid white or silver cant decide,

    any1 got any ideas and/or knows any1 who does a good job?

    easy enough to do yourself, just take your time over it
    lightly rub over with fine sandpaper,
    3 coats of primer leaving 1/2 hour between coats,
    leave 24hrs
    3 coats of paint 1/2 hour between coats
    leave 24 hours
    couple of coats of lacquer and leave for 4 days or so for it to harden properly
    jobs a good'un

    did mine white.didnt lacquer it though

    text talk can stop, use anyone rather than any1 thanks, all in the rules

    i think white looks, smart silver = tacky and original the best but that my opinion tbh

    how to you remove the center piece so that i i paint it?

    i know how to remove the side air vent but not the center piece any help........................?

    Easy mate, there are 5 screws to remove.

    You have 8 plugs, where you hazard light control and others are located, remove the two on either end which are half the size of the ret, there is one screw behind each of these which must be removed

    next there are two more half way down the centre console on the edges, you will have to look from underneath to see these, take them out too.

    And then there is one more right at the bottom, holding the base in. take this one out also, then it should just pull out!!

    cheers mate will have a look 2moz bit late now lol are the screw under the piece or can you see them from the front ?

    what colour you recommend ... silver ? ma car is white on the out side if that helps

    You will have to look from the bottom of the centre console to see where the screws are if you havent done it before.

    i'd go with a white mate, definitely!!

    did mine on the clio done my speaker vents, inside mirror covers and my door handles just tryin go get my centre consol bit off, haha
