   i realise this will not give a big power gain but to be honest im fed up of hearing iv got a shit filter, so is there an enclosed performance filter anywhere that is designed for the 1.1?

   If its the old 1.1's with Single point injection. then no there isn't one available. As the throttle body faces upwards. So only the likes of Green/Pipercross etc are made for those.
   The later 1.1's with Multi Point injection however had the throttle body facing sideways. So I cant see why a BMC enclosed (universal CDA) wouldn't fit. Even if it required minor bodging.

   just get some samco hoses made to meet the enclosed, but its an expensive way of doing it cos the samco wont be cheap.
