If you wanted a kit for a decent price i would go for this:

Just springs like you say get these:

Yeah the kit comes with 2 rear shocks and 2 front shocks, with the 2 front springs. You will need the back lowered however you prefer, i'd recomend that you go 35 aswel all round.
Most garages will be able to do this for you, but shop around get some quotes as there will be quite a bit of difference

think i could get away with just the springs ?

You could yes as your not going to slam it. But if you live in a bumpy area would prob be better to go with shocks too

Hehe, well if your on a budget the springs alone are for you. If you have that extra money to spend get the shocks too. You will defently notice the drop, will look good

im gettin my vtr lowered 40mm on springs and im going to be payin £150 with lowering at the torsion bar aswell and also gettin the car tracked once they are fitted hope this helps.

when you lower the rear see if you can get a bigger anti roll bar for handling

if you want it more like the 205 then definately go 35mm but I'd recommend getting the dampers too if budget allows. Really makes a difference
