i got another question guys sorry iv also noticed in my vtr that there is alot of play in the gear stick even when it is in gear would this be down to the linkage or could it just need adjusting?

worn gear stick mate check the link rods on the end of the gearbox

Could fit a quick shift. That's something I plan to do.

could well be the linkages..
a quickshift will shorten the throw but the slack would still be there

iv had a look at the gear box tonight and it looks like it is the linkages is it a costly thing to get a new one and wwere would i go about gettin a new one?
