the little black pipe that comes from the top of the engine and into the air box, Does that have to have a filter on it or can i just leave it unplugged ??

#2I assume you mean the breather pipe. You can put in a filter or run a hose to a bottle as a home made catch tank, or buy a proper catch tank, whatever suits.

#3Just don't leave it dangling cos it'll just drip oil everywhere and you might think you've got an oil leak etc
Oil breather filters are only about 4 quid

It will leak oil everywhere but not much tbh, filter just stops the dirt getting in
