Performance Manifolds

    Evening all.

    I have a 2001 Saxo VTR, and im looking to change the manifold for a performance one but need a bit of advice.

    When replacing the manifold, do i need to change the cat aswell or can i bolt original cat onto the new manifold ?

    Do i want to replace the exhaust gasket when changing the manifold ?

    Finally, which manifold would you recommend ?

    cat is in the manifold so it will be decatted, new gasket would be recomemded but not always essential and I went with piper as very good quality so I would recomend them.

    as your car will be decatted it will fail the emmissions test for mot but a cat from a mk1 saxo which fits under the car will fit.

    and you will need a sensor sleeve from gmc motor sport for 12 quid to stop engine management light coming on.

    did you need to fit the MK1 oil filter aswell ?

    no oil filter mods were needed when fitting piper, think thats only when fitting raceland manifold but might be wrong.

    but defo no oil filter moving with piper, do a search mate and you will find out more as its been covered loads of times

    Is that for any mani bought? I'm after a raceland one would i need that sleeve aswell?
