Hey guys,
Just a quick question.
What kind of temps do manifolds get up to on average?
Cheers

i couldnt find anything exact on the manifold, but Most cars thermostats are set for about 90C or 190F. They turn on the cooling fans between 104-107C or 220-225F. Older cars used lower temps. The engine temp doesn't mean the under hood temp is the same and every car will be different due to design or location of the part you want the temp of. Close to the exhaust manifold will be hottest as the manifold is hotter than the engine coolant.
correct me if im wrong with anything, or completly wrong , googled ^^^^

I've no idea of exact temperatures but even after your car has been on 30 seconds, it fucking hurts

lol, yea i wouldnt advise touching it even after a few seconds tbh!
Reason im asking is, just going to be spraying my manifold, got some VERY high temp paint, withstands temps up to 500 oC so should be ok!
Tried to get it in Kawasaki Green but no luck lol so silver will do
