4-2-1 Exhaust Manifold for mk.1 vtr

  1. #1
    Alrite,

Anyone got a 4-2-1 Exhaust Manifold fitted to a vtr? Is there that much of a performance difference between a 4-2-1 and standard? Also anyone know where i can get one for a mk.1 vtr, also any makes that you reccomend?

    Cheers Paul.

    Check Kam Racing....

I would of thought having JUST a Manifold would make that much differnce...could be wrong...need other mods to compliment it etc etc

I noticed a tiny bit of a difference on my mk2, free'd up the revs a bit...

    Get one from kamracing bw

Depends on the manifold and other modification to how effective a alternative manifold would be. I have seen some in the past loose power.

was wondering if you know what will happen when you put a different manifold in without the CAT. because i have just notice my manifold downpipe is cracked just before the part where it joins the centre pipe. was looking to get the raceland 4-2-1 manifold off kam racing but it doesnt have the CAT on it or the lambda probe sensor points. will this bring on any engine managment lights? or affect the cars running setting i.e. over/under fuelling???

if ya can let me know that would be great
