Supersprint race system with decat or sports cat?

So i have a super sprint race system and am looking at getting a new manifold soon.

I already have the supersprint race system (no mid box) and really i am just worried about what will happen if i was to put on a new manifold thus decatting the car. I know this should make for more power but i have heard lots of stuff about too much of a loss in back pressure being a real power loss problem and just dont want to waste money.

The other option is the janspeed with sports cat, this will create more back pressure than not having a cat in the manifold as well as letting more air through from the sports cat and being an overall better design.

Has anyone got the supersprint race system and manifold (with no cat)? Was it ok? Any gains? or losses lol?

Or would i be better off with the janspeed and sports cat.

    Thanks guys.

when i decatted y car i felt a big difference in low range power, revs alot more freely and feel to pull better mate, also sounds good

i was running a raceland 4-2-1 and the supersprint race system, and there's NOTHING that compares to it.
If i ever get another saxo, that WILL be the only set-up for me, plus it sounds awesome.

Raceland stainless manifold, supersprint race system (backbox being the only silencer, obv de-catted) Loud but proud. Feels more revvy and up for it imo.

So no chance of loss in performance then from your experience by the sounds of it?

Not that you will notice no.

A manifold with no cat is the cheapest way. Sounds the best, and makes the most noise.

Personally, unless im modifying purely for figures, then i dont care about the 1 or 2 bhp i may or may not loose

with a decent designed manifold you will not lose power.

Without getting all technical back pressure is a restriction in flow and looses you power not giving more.

Yeh i remember you said once about the ideal exhaust having as little as possible, yet enough at the same time. It is a weird subject. I remember you saying all about how the diameter of the piping should be so much so that it is not a restriction with one too small yet not a restriction with one too big.
