Rear brakes on a furio

Im looking at buying a furio, but i want to change the rear to discs instead of drums. Is it hard to change them? and how much will i be looking at paying to do it?

    Cheers

right ok, is it hard changing them? will it just be a straight swap? its already lowered 80mm at the rear.

you would need to adjust the torsion bars on the replacement rear beam, tbh if your pretty clued up on cars then it should be a doddle, its just the beam is heavy and you will need a few people with a jack and stands to get it in place, its basically a bolts and nuts job and connect your brakelines up

    oooh i see.
i might do it in the near future or a may not.. ill see what the breaking is like on it first.

    unlucky

have you upgrade the front yet mate? imo for the amount it would cost you to change and relower the beam you'd be better upgrading the fronts rather than the rears. the rears only do 10-15% of the braking

the fronts are discs anyways arent they sooo, do you mean upgrade them so there bigger or something? im not too clued up on brekes but im going to leave the rears, no point changing them.

As Mark said, rears only do about 10% of the braking, so unless you're going to be taking it out on track it's pretty pointless. Although if you are I would upgrade the fronts before the rears.
