vts head!

   Hey!
   
   Been thinkin about doin an engine swap for a while now as im a bit bored of the vtr.
   
   I had a thought nd is it possible to fit a vts head to a vtr block??? i knw the gear box is slighty different bt surely if i got the coil pack ecu etc i could b done???

   The gearboxes are the same apart from the ratios, but one of the major stumbling blocks would be that the pistons are totally different to allow for 4 valves as opposed to 2.

   VTS Engine swap is fairly easy, much easier than the farse of swapping heads. Only downside to the S conversion is getting a decent S engine.
   
   If your based in Yorkshire i can give you contact details for someone who can give you some good info and may be able to tell you where to get your engine and fit it for ya.

   Apparently the VTS head does fit the VTR block with a lot of work....by why bother.
   
   VTS conversions are easy if you have a fairly decent selection of tools. An engine crane makes life a lot easier too.

   How much are you looking to convert a vtr to vts? About 900? Im seriously considering it soon...
