Piper exhaust vibrations.

    Just had a 3" Outwardly Rolled Piper, Stainless Steel backbox fitted, and when I take my foot off the accelerator, I get some massive vibration noise, sounds like its coming from under the front seats. Does any one know what this is and whether its normal or not?

    Could be catching the heat shield.

    sounds like my problem, vibrating on the heat sheild, they might not have aligned it back up right.

    Cheers guys. Tomorrow I'm taking it back to the garage where I got it fitted and I'll mention the posibilities you guys have said

    probly just ur heat shield or a loose bolt kit. worst case ur manifold snapped and ur engine mounts are fucked! dont wanna worry you or out though!
