   Depends on whether you have the really early grill or the later facelift grill.I have the later grill & have meshed it & looks great.

   im gettin mesh grill for my mk1 pretty soon and ive got a VTR badge to go in the top right of the mesh, it looks pretty good on most saxos

   Ive got mine meshed on my mk1, but tbh im not 100% sure on it, some times i think it looks much better, but then sometimes up close think there nicer with the standard grill in. Easy mod to do though so can always try it, and if you dont like it put it back.

   Please for the love of god if you do mesh it use black mesh and paint the slam pannel behind it black so it doesn't stand out!
   
   I used to have a mesh grille on my old Mk1 but prefer the standard look nowadays

   Yeah second that, looks pretty shit when you can see the slam panel and radiator all behind it, looks like theres no mesh there. Dont take long to spray it either.

   My Mk1 has a mesh grille on it, IMO it's not a good look. But then, the standard grille isn't much better. Plus, I don't have the original grille, and can't get spray cans for the colour my car is in!

    black mesh deffo without any badges or anything on it just plain mesh, i see all the time people put ther saxo badges, vtr badges or '16valve' on the mesh and just looks wank

    IMO they look great meshed properly but they must have the chevrons put back on aswell. You could also paint your chevrons to match your colour scheme.
