Induction kit and exhaust

  1. #1
    Hello everyone.

I have a Mk2 Saxo VTS, and looking for some advice before i purchase an induction kit and a cat-back exhaust.

I'm looking for power gains and loudness basically.

Can anyone recommend some systems? i have a tight budget so best value to power ratio would be awesome.

I have a budget of about £30-£50 for an induction kit and £100-£200 for a cat-back exhaust system.

    Thanks in advance.

Consider the Supersprint race backbox with cat back centre pipe

Sorry to sound like a tit. But which bit is the resonator?
I put the green panal filter on my Mk2 saxo vtr the other day (from Kam racing, does it make a lot of diff taking it off?

behind the radiator, its basically all the piping and small boxes etc attached to the standard airbox system.

I whipped it all off (took literally a minute) and put on a 73mm feed from the bottom of the box to the front fog lamp.

There is other places to mount the feed, upto personal preference i guess.

Hope that gives you some idea's?

    ta buddy.

If im correct its to keep induction noise down, plays a fact in the cars emissions/mpg also at a guess?

basically its a restriction in the system

Seems like a good system, and decent website

Does the exhaust replace the standard VTS with ease? as it's a centre pipe. And does it come with the necessary brackets etc?

Sounds good, although i prefer the look of a new induction kit with cone etc.

With that method, have you noticed sound and power increases?

    Thanks guys.

with the supersprint centre you'd need to purchase the necessary clamps / gasket.

Can point you in the right direction if needed. PM me

It feels and revs abit more freely, not a huge difference as i expected.

Goes well hand in hand with my supersprint system though
