Safe lowering hight?

   Im keen on lowering my car, but dont have the budget for a full set!
   
   Whats the best/safe hight to do on just springs?
   
   Also what are some of the better springs?

   Im good for a set of springs. Any ideas.
   
   I lowerd my corsa on the G-max springs 40mm.
   
   But with my sax i would like a bit lower if safety permits it.

   Ideally for handling, about 40mm.

   At 40mm would the tracking need ajusting?
   
   Also would the standard shocks be cool with handling 40mm?
   
   Sorry to be a pain, just want to know before i do it.
