hi, just recentely had a new gear box on my saxo vtr and was wondering if i would need to replace my clutch aswel, are there any signs or symtoms of my clutch goin that i could check?

#2my clutch starting going quite recently and ive just had it replaced with a sports performance clutch (highly reccomended)
if you put your foot down and the revs go up but the car does not speed up accordingly (as if u have put your gears in neutral and put your foot down on the accelerator) then thats a pretty good indicator of your clutch going.
also a friend of mine told me to go up to 30mph then make sure the car is in 3rd gear (ithink, it may have been 4th?) then put your foot down and if it revs up but dosent speed up then u definately need a new clutch soon
