4-2-1 raceland manifold??

    When i bought my new VTR he also chucked in the raceland 4-2-1 manifold

    now the only question ive been thinking about is whether to use it or sell it

    how much more fun will i have with it attached compared to the effort it causes when the MOT comes round the corner

    if its mk1 then its not a problem for MOT but if its a mk2 then you'll have to put a mk1 exhaust system in so it will pass as the cat on the mk1's is on the exhaust system itself and not the manifold like the mk2's

    it would be easier getting a mrk1 standard exhaust system for mot time, then just take the one you have off now and put the mrk1 on ready. the mrk1s have cats underneath so no need to mess with manifold!
    in order to see some gains from the raceland, it would be recommended that you have a full system with decat, yet decats are illegal cos of emissions! so its up to you

    i forgot to add it in but ive got a mk2 but it would probably be a little more difficult

    worth it though?

    Are mk1 standard exhaust system's easy to get hold of and how much would I be looking to spend on it

    yer i have the raceland 2.5" custom full exhaust system on it already so all i would need to do would be to fit the manifold, if i decide on that

    i need some more advice really on what the decat would give me along with the full exahust system to decide, to be honest
