sports cat

   i ordered an Ashley exhaust system last night and i wanted to get a manifold aswell but as mine is a mk2 then obviously it will decat it. ive been looking at the Janspeed manifold with spors cat but will this still hav noticable power gains over the standard manifold and cat??

   i wouldnt bother too much with a sports cat because i wouldnt remove the cat unless your a MOT tester, i had a full Janspeed system on my MG with sports cat and 4-2-1 manifold and it felt great! but the sports cat didn't do that much to the performance, 4-2-1 mani made alot of difference tho' so if your prepared to loose your i'd get a ashley mani otherwise i dont think i would bother as gains from a sports cat are not that great for your money. but this was on a MGZR...

   i wana decat it but i just rly cant be bothered with the hassle of changing it when it came to mot time. if i did decat it would i still be able to use a mk1 cat even though ive bought the ashley system for a mk2 or would i have to swap the manifold back?
