help with tuning VTR

    ive been reading stickys and old threads for a few nights now and have made up a list which i hope to do one every month more if i can afford it

    so far i want to gain a nice healthy bhp i know it wont be earth shattering but its a light car so power to weights always gonna be good

    ive currently got no mods and a 4 speed box from a furio in it lol so thats being changed first

    mods planned

    S1 gearbox
    closed air induction kit
    cam kent 285 fast road??? havent decided still reading up on it
    ajustble pully etc
    4-2-1 manifold
    de-cat
    full system and then a remap

    also are ther parts that will help running or increase power from the VTS? ive struggled to find much info on that souldnt imgine theres much >?

    and i havent for got the breaks either i want to source sum better ones maybe VTS or 206GTI??? any other options ?

    as for lowering 50-60mm on full kit should do

    right now the reason for the post id like to know what peaples exprences are with VTR engine modding and brands and mods that worked well all good me reading stickys but id like to know what everyone else has done or plans

    and what sorta bhp will i be looking at 120 maybe ??

    do the brakes first vtr/vts are the same brakes get some 306 gti-6
    no good being able to go fast if you crash at the first bend you come to!!!!
    get the head +camshaft/pully
    exhaust /system decat at same time
    saves time

    the 306 gti-6 breaks will just bolt on ??

    the 306 gti brakes need a small amount of grinding to the carrier. 206gti 180 calipers bolt straight on and they are the same size. 206 gti brakes are 266mm 306 gti6 and 206 gti180's are 283mm. id say go for the 266 set up as they are slightly lighter than the others.
