removing rocker cother?

    how o i get this off? and is there any major risk in damaging my engien or gasket when taking it off? thanx guys

    2 bolts to take off, easy peasy Make sure you don't get any dirt or anything into the engine. Don't drop any bolts inside it.. obvious stuff really.

    When you put the bolts back on, make sure you don't overtighten them because the head of the bolt could snap off.

    exactly what i was gona say. i rounded my bolts off lol...

    the gasket only lasts a few mins before it leaks!!

    thanks lads, what about that thing atached to the top right side of the rocker cother dose that just pull off or summing dnt know what its called is it a breather or summin?

    Yeah it's just an oil breather pipe just pull it off! Also if you undo the two bolts for the plastic rail just behind the rocker this will give you more room.

    yea i over tightened one of the bolts and it snapped... so had to bodge it till i went to the scrappy and got a new bolt... not the end of the world tbh

    theyr ment to be done to 16nm i think m8
