vts engine

   Just wondering how much should i be looking at for a vts conversion into a 52 plate saxo furio. . .(thats if i keep it lol)

   there is no chance anyone would supply all parts and labour for £350.
   
   Normaly spend over that just getting the engine.
   
   Unless they are putting a 1.1 engine in for you.
   
   If its that cheap go do it, no need for a thread where real people with real prices will post. Wasting our time.

   If you can even find a full 3 plug engine/loom etc for £350 thats not on its last legs i'll eat my own hair.
   
   Then theres the labour, I think they may have qouted you wrong mate.

   when will people realise that good work cost good money i got quoted 400 labor to fit a vts then you have to pay for engine loom ecu ect its not cheep mate and rcd's price is a fair 1

   ok i was only saying what i got quoted and i wasnt being cocky its just when people say stuff that isnt needed. like that lad saying thats just for the parts. it isnt, it was for the labour to put the engine in. and the engine wasnt included in the price. anyway thanks for your time

    check this out on ebay itiem number 250301708057 my saxo 1.1x with vts 16 16v fitted body kit rear disc conversion spax all round full decat twin exaust

    mate you never said 350 for labour did you u made out that it was 350 all in so if rcd say 1100 all in i don t know why you are moaning about it being expensive because if you were serious about it you would of looked in to prices of parts to realize that you aint going to convert a furio into a vts for under a grand unless you do it yourself but you will never get what in saying because you are only wanting a vts to show off to ya mates in a local car park before you crash because you cant handle the power

    Just be careful that your £350 or £400 or whatever "labour" charge doesn't turn out to be +gaskets, +engine oil, +gearbox oil, +cambelt, +tensioner, +coolant, +VTS throttle cable, +VAT.
    
    The RCD price is drive in/drive out and will include a thorough engine check and a lot of extras which you may agree are important.
