compbrake fixed top mounts

    Anybody have these? are they a direct replacement? no need to drill extra holes?

    personally wouldnt buy them tbh.
    not needed at all on a daily car waste of cash.

    thats my advise.

    will need studs on the top mount so you can actualyl attach the strut to the car.

    thats going off that picture as they are not on there.

    only reason i was going to get them was because the bearings in the old ones have gone so thought about upgrading while i was at it, maybe group n's would be a better cheaper option?

    top mount is just rubber.

    Just get standard i have some in the garage you can have.

    I think you mean the plates which sit on top of the strut before the top mount goes on as thats the only thing that has bearings in.

    The item you posted wont replace them if its a direct replacement for a top mount.

    the mount on the left is a top mount and the plate to its right is the one with the bearings in. there tiny little ball bearings.

    im with you now, was confusing myself, yeah the bearings that sit beneath the top mounts have gone.
