damn brakes wont bleed?

    hooked up my brake lines today.
    went to bleed them and i started on the furthest nipple = offside rear

    the bubbles just kept on coming nearly went through a litre before the bubbles became really small but still had bubbles so i gave up on that side.

    tried nearside rear hooked up the bleed tube and bottle, pumped up the brakes = and? nothing comes out of this nipple so could it be that its got shit in the tube which means ive gotta take the line off again grrrrrrr!!!

    bloody brakes what is it?!!!!

    Were you trying to pressure bleed it by any chance?

    PS, You normally have to go round the car a few times on a totally drained system. Just to it the pump and bleed method and it should be fine unless you have a leak.

    no bud, just sat in the car and pumped the pedal like you do when you bleed the brakes.
    just dont understand why no liquid is comin through..
    its gotta be dirt in the lines or on the caliper holes what else could it be? lol
    ive checked every join and its all tight, no leaks anywhere.

    remove the bleed nipple make sure the hole is free of crud

    If you get air in the system it can take a fair bit of work to get it started. If the pedal was still going to the floor but the fluid was not coming out just keep trying. It can also help to try doing a bit of bleeding of the other brakes just to get it going.

    yeah will try tmw again bud, i refurbed all the calipers, transfered all the brakelines to my new beamthe whole system was basically empty
