Changed headlight and......

    ....fitted it all back together (nearside), but the underlamp plastic brow part doesnt seem to sit flush with the bodywork anymore! And the bumper looks like it is sitting a little lower than the other side now

    no unecessary pressure or swearing/taking a hammer to it has happened.

    Anyone else had this trouble?

    take the bumper back off and check the main clip hasn't give way is quite common if it has been removed a few times should bring it back up as for the other bit take a picture and post it ill have a look later see if i can help if not im sure someone else will know but im sure they will need a picture

    Taking the bumper off? didnt have to, used a worm drive to get the bottom bolt out of the headlamp housing. The bumper never moved whilst i was doing it. ALways done it this way on saxo's, never ran into problems before.

    The bumper bolts are all tight, think it may have been sitting like this before, but the plastic bit for under the headlamp jsut doesnt sit flush like it did 2 hours ago before i started on it.

    Typical its only my car it happens to, everyone elses is fine that ive done!!

    will take one but wont be able to upload it until tonight as im at work now. bumper on the nearside sits slightly lower than the offside. you can see the slight lip the black part of the bumper has to it right at the top where it meets the plastic unerlamp brow part.

    will go get that photo now so its done.
