vtr clutch pedal!

    i was driving home from work tonight when my clutch went and 2 weeks before my mot too!!! now this hasn't happened to me before and im not too sure whether or not the cable or the whole clutch has went??

    does anyone out there know from experience, what could be wrong? i can still push the clutch in a change the gear but when i release it the gears are not catching if you know what i mean lol??

    Sound slike a problem with the actual Gears too me, but I'm not 100% sure.

    id say just the clutch, not the cable, best get it looked at.

    Correct me if im wrong, but the pedal would just be slack if the cable went (ie it would go straight to the floor)

    Sounds more like the gears that the clutch, but im not an expert.

    if the pedal still has pretty much the same resistance when pressing it then itll be the clutch, if the pedal feels like it is light and different to it did then itll probably be the cable. generally if the cluthc goes it will splip a lot and be hard to enguage gear first.

    the car goes into gear and drives slightly for a bit, but then it slips out of gear. the clutch pedal feels slightly slack!! had to get it towed away today and have to wait till monday to find out whats wrong with it!!! No boozing this weekend then lol!!!

    if its pushing itself out of gear isnt it gearbox gone?
