   Apparently the later boxes are better than the early boxes. But the early ones are shite IMO.

   No, my car came standard with the early box and it was shit. Ratios were all over the place. Mate's standard Quiksilver could keep up. Yet 'leeds106' on 106oc had a later vtr box on his car, and it was quick.

   you have a 106xs....so you'll more than likely have a different box than a vtr.

   also all saxo boxes will fit all saxo engines

   106XS has the exact same engine and box as the pre-2000 VTR.

   all MA boxes are the same....
   
   come to mention it, i have a 206 box on my vts.
   
   i highly doubt that early box's are shitter than later ones....

    And I bet that 206 box has different ratios to the S box yeah? Thats the difference in VTR boxes as far as im concerned, the ratios.
    I know MA boxes are the same, im rocking a 1.1 box atm.
