can you use steel wheel bolt on vtr wheels
  2. #2
    yes or no
  3. #3
if they are not flat seated no
  4. #4
Check there length too because they might disturb the brakes....and thats not a good thing to have happen haha
  5. #5
no vtr are flat faced, steel wheels are tapered
  6. #6
NO steel wheel bolts will eventually eat through the alloy
  7. #7
if you have looked at the VTR wheels they are tapered and if you look at the locking wheel nuts that you can buy they are tapered i have been using 205 alloys which as a flat washer on it
all i need is some one out they can take a wheel nut off to see if it has a tapered washer on it or a flat washer or just a wheel bolt like a steel wheel

if the bolts are too long the go ll the way through the hub and foul on the internals of the drum (assuming drums if you have steelies)
its not as big of a problem with discs
