MK1 Bonnet/Grille idea

   Was having a think about different ideas on grille designs, obv the mesh is there but i was thinking something different.
   
   Maybe keeping my early PH1 grille, extending it up slightly so its smooth, then getting a bad boy bonnet that overlaps the grille, similar to how it is on a pug 306.
   
   Any1 know if this has been done before?

   Yeah looks ok, i still prefer the dimma black, or re-pain the grill to a colour of your choice which is what i did. I know it isn't unique in a sense that most people do it, but that is because it looks so good, if you want to be uniqe try using a set of colours that not many people have used.

   As far as painting the grille goes, thats a big no, the car is staying a subtle hit to the eye, fully coded with white wheels is as extreme im going, more of a slick smooth look rather than something massively eye catching

   I know what you mean mate, seen a picture of one ages ago (tried to find but god knows where it is) The badboy bonnets do actually look quite smart with the mk1 grill, at first i thought it would look chavvy kinda, but they do look good imo.
